Sasie, in partnership with Nottingham City Council and Bigwood School secured funding from East Midlands Development Agency to purchase state-of-the-art training equipment imported from Germany for our Renewable Energy Applied Learning Project.

This project, using professional commercial equipment demonstrates how the following technologies work in action:

• Ground and air source heat pumps
• Solar thermal systems
• On and Off-grid Solar photovoltaic systems

In partnership with New College Nottingham, Sasie has successfully demonstrated this equipment to students, staff, public bodies, private agencies and social enterprises in April and May 2010.

Sasie will continue from September to contribute to the delivery of the construction and the built environment Diploma at Bigwood School in Nottingham and will continue its commitment to the development of a new quality approach to skills training in the renewable energy sector. 

To this end Sasie is developing firmer links with its German equipment supplier, Christiani GmbH and the German renewable installation teaching methodology: Solarteur.
