Christiani Renewable Training System

SASIE Ltd is the first company to bring the Christiani renewable training system to the UK. Christiani is a pioneering German provider for distance learning and vocational training tools. Their renewable training rigs form the backbone of SASIE’s training course.

We can provide complete set of their modular heat pump, solar thermal, and photovoltaic rigs which offer hands-on practical experience on how to set up these systems individually or in combination. The rigs can be arranged to simulate different renewable technology set ups. For example, one module can be used to simulate underfloor heating, receiving heat from a solar thermal or air source heat pump module. Alternatively when placed at the head of the rig, it can be used to simulate a ground source heat pump loop.

In addition to the modular training rigs, we have a variety of other training equipment. Much of this is particularly suitable

for raising energy awareness amongst learners and the general public, but it can also be used to complement vocational training.

The Solar Laboratory can be used to demonstrate both on-grid and off-grid solar power applications.

The Solar Suitcase is a highly portable piece of kit that can also be used to demonstrate photovoltaics.

The Energy Bike uses a purpose-built stationary bike, similar to a standard exercise bike, to demonstrate the amount of human power necessary to perform certain tasks such as illuminating light bulbs of varying efficiencies. This simple hands-on solution is often an eye opener for learners in terms of the energy needs of different technologies.
