Renewable Energy Applied Learning Project
Sasie, in partnership with Nottingham City Council and Bigwood School secured funding from East Midlands Development Agency to purchase state-of-the-art training equipment imported from Germany for our Renewable Energy Applied Learning Project.
This project, using professional commercial equipment demonstrated how the following technologies work in action:
- Ground and air source heat pumps
- Solar thermal systems
- On and Off-grid Solar photovoltaic systems
In partnership with New College Nottingham, Sasie successfully demonstrated this equipment to students, staff, public bodies, private agencies and social enterprises in April and May 2010.
Sasie continued to develop these training practices and a working relationship with German training rig manufacturer Christiani GmbH, resulting in the current Sasie Training project taking place in conjunction with ncn Basford Hall College.
